What I like about everything Mohanad Kojak does is the variety of vibes even though all items have a strong feminine vibe.
This pair of shorts is so 70s in the cut and style. They’re not shorts that you would wear at the gym though… The color is powdery pink which is a trendy color this season. And as soon as I felt the texture, I felt like contrasting it with another kind of texture and decided to wear a lace top with flare ended sleeves to keep the 70s vibes. 70s all the way, so the top had to be see-through and again, there’s a fine line between sexy and vulgar… You know me by now how I like to play with textures and mix and match to make the outfit even more interesting.
Layering on top of this outfit an oversize denim jacket was the cherry on top. *whispers* It’s Mohanad’s. While we were searching for a place to shoot, I remember we just looked at each other and decided “that’s the jacket I’m wearing” and I love it because it makes the outfit more casual. Plus, pink and blue are like French fries and ketchup!
I paired the outfit with fishnet tights and of course, had to go for that trend that everyone is loving, which is sandals + tights/socks and I am personally obsessed about it, because I find everything that’s trendy and weird at the same time is challenging. What a nice combination to match the two shades of pink with another pink which goes to my hat, that I dropped on top of my new short hair that I’m obsessing over. Short hair is so practical, edgy, and gives a different vibe and style, as I raved about in Short Hair Don’t Care.
