What is it to be lucky while shopping? I’m sure you all agree with me on the following. It’s when items are on sale and you find your size!
This is what happened to me recently at Zara, I found this knee skirt in my size for 9000 LBP! I was lucky enough because I know I’m not going to wear it just once, instead, I’m going to wear it multiple times because it’s vintage classic but it’s also trendy now cause you know, 90s are back.
I was super happy when I bought it because as soon as I wore it, I imagined the different outfits I would go for and how I’m going to mix and match it.
TIP! Do this when you go sale shopping, find items and imagine how you would wear them and how you would mix and match them with items already in your closet. If this item matches at least 3 others from your closet, you know you’re about to wear it many times. Unless you have something in mind you’re searching for while sale shopping and you have it on your shopping list, make sure that item will be mixed and matched with 3 different outfits at least.
When I moved houses, I had to let go of items so I started to think that way: This piece goes with which piece? This item matches with what item? So based on this idea, I decided what to keep and what to throw away.
Not to shift away from the subject, I wore this denim skirt with a basic round neck long sleeves white top and dropped on my fedora. And my favorite part? SHOES! I wore these chunky oxford shoes that also remind me of a pair I used to own in the 90s and I couldn’t not pair them with fishnet tights, and see guys? I have always told you that they’re such a nice thing to wear and couldn’t resist not wearing these cute socks with cute ruffles.
These Foldable Round Metal Ray-ban sunglasses are very trendy now because of their shape, n wonder I’m Under Their Spell.
A touch of bold red lipstick, my Charles & Keith backpack and an American Apparel belt wrapped around my waist and I was ready to go! These belts are basic and perfect in their simplicity.
I am happy that backpacks are back because in the 90s I wore a lot of them and now I like them because they’re being pushed to modernity. Are you?
